Amarillo, Texas
Destination Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
My Nextar GPS is old, and hasn't been used in YEARS! Time to do an update and just maybe that will help it.
Traveling through Amarillo, TX it took me through a "not so nice part of the city" instead of pointing me to the RIGHT side exit for I-40. Lucky for me, I have mastered driving "Big Daddy" while hitched to my "condo on wheels" (aka Safire).
Again there were miles and miles of nothing but fields although there were plenty more "wind farms".
After stopping for fuel THREE times I see my destination of Oklahoma City!
The weather was overcast and raining in spots. Getting closer to OKC, it was pouring and there was a traffic jam near the intersection of I-40 & I-35.
Upon my arrival into Roadrunner RV Park it was pouring rain and by the time I was all set up was drenched. The Good Sam Club membership is only $25 per year and gave a discount here. Well, the Good Sam membership has almost paid for itself. LOVE a good discount!
